Leadership PBL
This 6 week module is designed to give students skills needed to lead younger students through various games and physical activities. We explore different leadership styles, communication skills, and discover their own styles and strengths. Students also receive certification in St. John Ambulance First Aid. This module's first project was to chose Physical Education outcomes from grades 4-6, design a 30-minute class and lead a class as a small group at a local elementary school.

Outdoor Pursuits PBL:
This 6-week module explores development of several skills, including: map and navigation skills, survival skills, and camping skills. The main project for this module is planning an overnight camping trip to the MARC. Students are responsible for making all arrangements, plans and activities. Additional training will be given in St. John First Aid and GPS and compass skills.

Fitness Frenzy PBL:
Students will participate in individual fitness testing and spend the next 5 weeks learning how to create individual fitness programs to improve in their specific areas of weakness. Through learning and applying the principles of fitness and about various aspects of nutrition, students will learn how to practice a healthy active lifestyle. We hope to explore a variety of activities that will interest the students and encourage higher levels of physical activity.
